Today was Yogi Bhajan’s birthday.
Some friends and I went to celebrate at Golden Bridge this morning at 2:50am. We chanted. We meditated. We listened to the gong. We slept. We prayed.
I don’t think I can begin to describe the morning to you if I tried, and not just because I’m tired despite having two naps. It was really an incredible experience. There were at least 75 people there – probably more than 100 – all chanting in unison for over two and a half hours. I don’t even think I slept so much as meditated on the sound.
I’ll have to write more about this later.
