"It's not about doing the things you love, it's about doing things with the one you love!"

Not that it’s not obvious, but astute readers have probably clued in that something’s amiss. I’m in a lot of pain… over the death of Aaron Spelling. I’m trying to keep my head above water – some days are easier than others, of course. And I’m resisting the urge to vomit all over the blog because I believe in respecting Aaron’s legacy and some things need to stay private, especially while I work through them. So if the blog is a little less than lively over the next little while, that’s why. Thanks for understanding. As they say, this too shall pass.

In his honor, I've decided to get a horrific boob job, just like the one his daughter has.

I'm calling one Isaac and the other Gopher.

In Aaron Spelling's honor, I vow to get drunk and barf all over his daughter's horrific boob job.

Someday.

Once, when I was on the Warner Hollywood lot, on Santa Monica and Formosa, which used to be called the "Samuel Goldwyn Studio" and is now owned by people with NO imagination who have prosaically re-named it "The Lot," I saw Aaron Spelling.

He was standing in the open doorway of a two-block-long limousine -- no shit, the thing was longer than the buliding it was parked in front of -- and he was barking out orders to a subordinate before he got into the limo for the long arduous drive back to his Holmby Hills mansion.

There was a light rain falling, and Spelling had an umbrella. The subordinate didn't.

Somebody else was holding the umbrella over Spelling.

In honor of Aaron, and to promote good cheer this weekend, I think that we should pick and "be" a character from 90210 for at least a few hours.
